"Matchlock gun (meda) Tibetan, 18th century Tibetan guns were inspired by those form China [SIC]. This example being mounted in silver with a fabric and tourquoise [SIC] cover over the pan. The gun is fitted with a hinged bipod to steady the aim at long range."
